CROSSWORD revoles around the misplaced values of today’s youth. Nithi pretends to be in love with the hero Abhishek who truly loves her. She in reality is after his money. Abhishek was shattered and devastated when he discovers the truth.Nithi is murdered and her friends are falsely implicated .A gripping thriller which enjoyed moderate box-office success and earned Abhishek the 12th Annual Pierean spring film award for the best director.Anikha was impressive in her first film. However Puneet, Shashank and Ruchika had life in their performance.This film established Abhishek as a promising new comer,which TCNTC could not do.Shashank was introduced in this film and today is one of the biggest stars in AFI.Rating-3/5-HIT
